Movie Picks : Wow, where to begin - Erins list of movie credits is longer than my errrrr arm. Here are just a couple sample reviews from the old d3rang3d website.

 

Witchbabe (reviewed on d3rang3d 19/12/06) - It hubbles and bubbles, boils and spits, And is full of young ladies showing their tits, They'll dance with no pants in the shade of the woods, These horny young witches deliver the goods.

You want plot summary? There it is in my little bit of verse. There's a lot of young women who are seduced by the power of the witch. They get naked a lot and frolic with each other in nice lesbian scenes that we are so fond of seeing from Seduction Cinema. And it has Misty Mundae, whom you'll have guessed I have a soft spot for if you've read my reviews of other movies she is in.

That's it. It's light on plot but heavy on naked ladies and girl on girl action. C'mon, did you really expect any different? Hell, did you want any different? If you did then you obviously haven't bought a Seduction Cinema movie before, or you're trying to convince us of your non existent prudishness.

The ladies look good in this, casting was done well and they seem to be having fun making the film, always important. I hate those sleazy movies where it feels like the cast are just going through the motions to take home a pay check. They act well, they look good, and the scenes are for the most part nicely erotic and filled with nice imagery. One can't fault this for delivering some nice soft core girl on girl action.

Don't try kidding me that you grabbed this for anything other than softcore titillation or the aesthetic pleasure of seeing nubile young females in various states of nakedness and debauchery. If that were really true then you certainly are naive. C'mon, admit it, you grabbed it for the women, not because you expected a classic of modern cinema. You knew it was going to be a loose plot that was little more than an excuse to string together lots of scenes of ladies getting horny.

It doesn't dissappoint on the naked ladies score. There are plenty of em, they get it on often, and the scenes look good. Don't complain at what you get here, a lot of nudity and lady to lady love held together by a flimsy plot. If you are after a movie that delivers anything other than that then this is not the film for you, but if you want some good, honest sleaze with attractive ladies and a nice touch of humour then you've come to just the right place.

 

Vampire Vixens (reviewed on d3rang3d 13/11/06) - I mentioned her in the course of reviewing Death Shock recently so if ever I needed an excuse to drag out a bit of Misty Mundae (Erin Brown) sleaze then that was certainly it. Always a pleasure, her films may not be the sleaziest or the most technically accomplished, but they are usually always an enjoyable dose of honest titillation.

Does the plot matter a lot? Is there even a plot? There's a Vampiress of sorts, there's a geeky looking bloke who spies on people and who looks like he may just whack off in his boxers until they could stand up on their own, lots of girl on girl action, and some sexy goings on in an office. It may not sound a lot, but then again the muddled plot is really just an excuse for people to get their clothes off and get it on.

In keeping with most of the Seduction Cinema films this is in no way hardcore, rather a gentle dose of sleaze executed in an interesting and eminently watchable fashion. The sex scenes in this aren't the best but they are well done and fairly erotic. Misty, as ever, looks good, and, if you'll pardon the obviousness of the statement, it's always a pleasure to see her get naked and hot. Another pleasure was seeing Erin Brown turn up in the first Masters of Horror series (she played Misty Falls in Sick Girl)

I must admit that I much preferred other, earlier films of hers such as My Vampire Lover or Vampire Strangler, but this is a pretty sound watch. It does what it is supposed to do, deliver a refreshing bit of light hearted sleaze that has both a humorous and erotic touch. It is fun to watch even if it is neither erotically, technically, or aesthetically, the best. Approach it lightheartedly and you won't be dissappointed in what is, at the end of the day, a fun and unpretentious little parcel of sleaze.

 

Lust in the Mummys Tomb (reviewed on d3rang3d 20/11/06) - Oh, Misty, oh Misty, always a joy to see on screen, can brighten the dullest turkey of a movie, bring a touch of class to even the basest piece of ill plotted sleaze. I'll be honest here though, despite my Misty bias, that's what this is - ill plotted sleaze, nothing more than a vehicle for her to get naked and horny, with minor embellishments of plot about a Mummy (who, of course, she gets horny with, bandages and all).

Is that a bad thing? Well, it is if you had expectations of seeing a movie that is anything more than a nudey Misty fest. She's been in far better, and much as I like her, she's far more fun when she acts as well instead of just stripping. When she gets opportunity and material she can deliver a pretty good screen performance.

The scenes on offer here are a variety of soft core sleaze, including Misty in the shower, Misty and the mummies consort girl on girl, Misty and the Mummy having a very one sided encounter. Good job they splinted his tackle when they wrapped him up in bandages I guess.
