Confusing is perhaps too kind a word for this baffling horror outing which I confess I made absolutely zero sense of from beginning to end.
There're some kind of weirdos - one of whom looks a little like a trollish priest with an elvis haircut - a box where people face their fears, some more weirdos, and random people turning up to act weird and vomit black stuff. Oh, and some more weird people, acting weirdly of course.
Plot wise I simply didn't have a clue for most of it, and by the time it started making even a meagre amount of sense, I was already too befuddled and bemused to care. Confusion reigned supreme for me in this seemingly impeneterable outing.
I know I am just Joe Average, just a normal, non sophisticated horror fan, but I like to think I have the capacity to follow a storyline as well as the next man can. Perhaps this is meant for some horror elite, twisted geniuses who will find wisdom therein, but for myself, all I found is a big, fat ?
